Gary Police are investigating the deaths of two men in separate gun-related homicides over the weekend.
In the first incident, police were called to the 2600 block of Connecticut Street around 7:53 p.m. on Dec. 30, where they found 33-year-old Damon Crisler dead of an apparent gunshot wound.
Crisler had no permanent address, according to a release from the Lake County Coroner’s Office.
In the second shooting, police were sent to the 3900 block of W. 13th Avenue around 6 a.m. on Jan. 1. Nigel Brown, 25, of Merrillville, was found dead inside of a car after suffering multiple gunshot wounds, according to the Lake County Coroner’s Office.
Both deaths are being investigated by Gary Police and the Lake County Prosecutor’s Homicide Task Force.
