Our web notifications and newsletters make it easy for us to deliver the most important and interesting news straight to your digital doorstep. You can sign up for and manage your web notifications and newsletters by following a few steps.
How to manage web notifications
- Go to chicagotribune.com/notifications. You can also access this page by going to chicagotribune.com, and clicking or tapping on “manage web notifications” at the bottom of the home page.
- You’ll land on a page which has a button that will read “turn on tribune web notifications” or “disable tribune web notifications”. Click or tap on this button to turn the notifications on and off.
- These are browser-level settings, so if you use multiple browsers (e.g. Chrome, Safari, Firefox) follow these steps to turn the notifications on or off for each browser.
How to manage newsletters (if you have a log in)
- Go to chicagotribune.com/newsletters.
- Confirm you are logged in. If you are logged in, you will see a “sign out” prompt in the upper-left corner of the page. If you are not logged in, you will see a “log in” prompt in the upper-left corner of the page. To log in, click or tap “log in” and follow the on-screen instructions. - Next, you’ll see a page that lists and summarizes all available newsletters. There will be a button below each newsletter description that reads “follow” or “following”. Click or tap that button to opt in or out of each newsletter.
How to manage newsletters (if you do not have a log in)
- Go to chicagotribune.com/newsletters.
- You will see a screen that lists and summarizes all available newsletters. To sign up for a newsletter, fill in the email address field and click or tap on the arrow button to the right.
