A 53-year-old man was pronounced dead after being found Friday morning unresponsive with head trauma in the Austin neighborhood, Chicago police said.
About 6:20 a.m., the victim was found outside unresponsive in the 4900 block of West Van Buren Street. He had suffered head trauma and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Police have opened a death investigation.
