FanDuel currently has two different promotions for users across the country, based on where they are located when they place their first wager.

Sportsbooks will generally offer some kind of welcome bonus promotion to entice new users with one of two structures: a Bet and Get promotion or a First Bet Insurance offer.

In this case, users can claim either the Bet and Get offer or the First Bet Insurance depending on what state they’re located in when they wager.

Users in Arizona, Colorado, Illinois and Tennessee can get $150 instantly with the Bet and Get in those states. Bettors in all other legal FanDuel states can take advantage of the No Sweat First Bet promotion with a $1,000 cap.

Since neither of these offers require a promo code, users can easily claim one of the promotions by clicking the relevant modules displayed above and signing up for an account with FanDuel.

We’ll go into more detail about the nature of both of these promotions, and highlight the relevant sign-up conditions in the paragraphs below.

Bet and Get, No Sweat First Bet explained

Since FanDuel currently has two available promotions, we’ll break each down and explain them individually.

Bet and Get

The Bet and Get promotion is restricted to new users in Tennessee, Arizona, Colorado and Illinois only. If you are wagering from any of those four states, this offer will work for you.

As is the case with all Bet and Get promotions, a user’s first wager is not required to settle as a loss for them to get bonus bets. So, a new user could actually collect the profit from a successful first wager and earn the $150 in bonus bets.

This Bet and Get promotion — which does not require a promo code — requires users to place a $5 qualifying wager and, once it settles, they’ll get $150 in bonus bets.

  1. To claim this offer, new bettors can click the module displayed above, sign up for a FanDuel account and make a small cash deposit of at least $10.
  2. After that, users will need to make a cash wager of at least $5 to trigger this promotion. Notably, only cash deposits and wagers will initiate this offer and any deposits or bets placed with existing credits will not qualify.
  3. Users will get their bonus bets within 72 hours of bet settlement and any bonus bets earned from this offer will be valid for 14 days after distribution.
No Sweat First Bet

This offer is structured as a First Bet Insurance promotion. Unlike Bet and Get offers, these types of promotions require a user’s first wager to settle as a loss for them to get any bonus bets.

However, First Bet Insurance offers like the No Sweat First Bet offer often have a much higher cap. For example, this offer has a cap of $1,000 so users can get up to $1,000 back in bonus bets if their initial wager doesn’t land.

  1. Since there is no promo code required, users can easily claim this offer by clicking the module displayed above and signing up for an account with FanDuel.
  2. After that, they’ll need to make a small cash deposit of $10 and place a cash wager of their choice to trigger this offer.
  3. If that first wager hits, they’ll collect the profits and keep their stake. However, if that first wager goes south, users are still covered — up to $1,000 — with the No Sweat First Bet promotion.
  4. Once that first wager settles as a loss, bonus bets will be distributed within 72 hours of bet settlement and any bonus bets earned from this promotion will be valid for seven days after distribution.

FanDuel sign-up details

Despite the differences in the offers, there are some critical sign-up conditions that apply to both promotions.

Both of these offers are restricted to new customers who are at least 21 years old and present in a legal FanDuel state. Users do not need to be a resident of any of these states to take advantage of the offer but must be within state limits which FanDuel will verify using geolocation data.

As mentioned above, the Bet and Get promotion is only applicable to users in Arizona, Colorado, Illinois or Tennessee. Users in all other states can claim the No Sweat First Bet offer.

Any bonus bets earned from this promotion are only eligible for one wager a piece and will not be returned as part of the stake in the event of a successful wager.
