The bet365 bonus code CTNEWS unlocks one of three available promotions: a $1K insurance offer or a $150 bet and get in six states, or $365 in bonus bets exclusively in Louisiana.

Players in Colorado, Iowa, Kentucky, New Jersey, Ohio and Virginia can choose between the $1,000 bet insurance promotion or a $150 bet and get when they sign up for an account with the bonus code CTNEWS. Bettors using that code will be directed to the bet365 landing page, where they can choose their preferred promotion.

Wagering with bet365

Houston Rockets (+141) vs. Dallas Mavericks (-167)

The Rockets face off against in-state rivals the Mavericks for a chance to advance beyond the group stage of the In-Season Tournament.

Since Dallas has already been eliminated from contention, they’ll have a chance to spoil Houston’s chances, but will have their work cut out for them.

The Mavericks have been bad in a couple of spots lately, one is rebounding specifically offensive rebounding. Derrick Lively has been out for a bit and the Mavs’ offensive rebounding percentages have dropped accordingly. The Rockets, meanwhile, have had the highest defensive rebounding percentage over the past 10 games.

In addition to that, Dallas relies heavily on threes to win. They tend to spread out opponents and fire a lot from distance as a means of swarming opposing teams with offense. They attempt the most threes of any team in the league at 43.2 a game.

Thus far, it has worked manageably well but they’ll definitely need to adjust as the season goes on.

This game, however, doesn’t matchup well for the Mavs. Houston has the best defensive rating in the league and ranks as the best team in the league at defending against the three. They haven’t been limiting attempts but have been closing out strong, without fouling, and scooping up the boards.

Dallas is a three and a half point favorite with a 229 point total. There are two options here: the first is a wager on the Rockets to beat the spread. They’ve been hot lately and they match up well against Dallas.

Additionally, there’s some room for a play on the under here. As noted, Houston’s defense has been staunch this year and the Mavs don’t score a ton without the three ball.

If you’re interested in prop bets, look at Jabari Smith Jr for the over on rebounds. Most books have him at 8.5 for this one, but given how often the Mavs shoot threes he’ll exceed expectations there.
